How we handle your data

We keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what we gather, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Throne Toplist is an independent comparison site for UK-facing online casino brands. For questions about your data, contact us at editorial@thronetoplist.com.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and the details of your message.
  • Usage data. Like most websites, we collect basic, mostly anonymous information about how pages are used — such as which pages are visited and general device or browser type — to keep the site working and improve it.
  • Cookie data. Some information is stored through cookies, as set out in our Cookie Policy.

We do not run gambling accounts, so we never collect or hold the kind of financial, identity or play data an operator would handle. Anything you submit to an operator is covered by that operator’s own privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiries and follow up on feedback or corrections.
  • To understand which content is useful and to improve our reviews and pages.
  • To keep the site secure and working as intended.
  • To measure, in aggregate, how visitors reach operator sites through our links.

Legal bases

We rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving an independent comparison site for the limited usage data described above. Where you contact us, we process your message to respond to you.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We may use trusted service providers (for example, analytics or email handling) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then delete them. Aggregated usage data may be kept longer because it doesn’t identify you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for cookies at any time. To make a request, email editorial@thronetoplist.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.

Updates

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
